Santee School District sources their dairy and produce from local producers, Hollandia Dairy and Coast Citrus Distributors. Sycamore Canyon Elementary has chickens on campus, and are able to send parents home with eggs from their kitchen coop. Hill Creek Elementary has a farm to table culinary class, where students grow and cook their own food. Cajon Park Elementary has partnered with the Master Gardener Association to grow their school garden, which includes fruit trees and a composting protocol.
